Under Donald Trump America has become isolated. We are not feared by our enemies and friends don't trust us. In fact, one of those enemies happens to control the occupant in the White House. That is a recipe for disaster. An America does not stand for peace and democracy is one that allows tyranny, fascism, and chaos to prevail. We saw what happened in the 1920s when isolationism America allowed the rise of fascism. Eventually that led to the attack by the Japanese and war with Hitler. We are seeing it again. This time fascism controls America. The result could be worse than what occurred almost 100 years ago.
The attack on Iran is not only not supported by our allies but will makes us a target for terrorists:
President Donald Trump’s decision to eliminate Iranian general Qassim Suleimani could have far-reaching consequences that are difficult to appreciate in the short term. And one example is already being seen in Africa.
The former Secretary of State under Obama, John Kerry, got it right:
Kerry then argued that Trump "has isolated America and taken us backwards in terms of institutions that were structured ever since World War II to bring the world together." Continuing his criticism of the president, the former secretary pointed to Trump's willingness to accept Russian President Vladimir Putin's denial of election interference over that of his own intelligence agencies. "That's a moment of shame," he said.
